About the Role
The Bolles School is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Choral Music Teacher to lead and grow a dynamic vocal music program for students in grades 6–12. This position is designed for a skilled musician and educator who values relationship-building, creativity, and student-centered learning. The role goes beyond the classroom, requiring the ideal candidate to actively contribute to the broader life of the school community while fostering a positive, engaging environment that supports both artistic and personal growth.
The successful candidate will serve as the Musical Director for school productions, direct concerts and special events, and collaborate closely with Fine Arts faculty. A key component of this role involves partnering with Admissions to support recruitment and enrollment efforts through performances and community engagement, ensuring the choral program remains a vibrant pillar of the school's identity.
This position will begin with the 2026–2027 academic year and involves travel between the San Jose Upper School Campus and the Bartram Middle School Campus.
