About the Role
The Chief of Security serves as the industry's global leader in evidenced-based rehabilitation, joining a family that hires only those who strive to do their best. This role is responsible for the daily direction and supervision of security operations, ensuring the safety and security of the client population and staff without compromise. You will oversee the daily functioning of all security unit operations, exercising overall supervision of staff and participating in the full lifecycle of employee management, from hiring and training to performance evaluation and disciplinary action.
In this position, you will develop and revise security policies, plan for emergency situations, and direct the training of staff in the execution of escape and riot control plans. You will serve as a committee member on training, budget, and policy review boards, assisting management in establishing long-range plans to achieve facility goals. The role requires a 24/7 presence to respond to significant or unusual occurrences and periodic meetings with shifts to discuss operational issues.
