Our client is a globally established manufacturer operating across North America, Europe, and Asia, with a workforce of several thousand employees. The business supports a portfolio of recognized commercial and consumer-focused brands, serving a broad global customer base through both physical and digital channels. Following a recent public market listing on the NYSE, the organization now operates within a highly regulated corporate governance environment. This transition has introduced increased obligations regarding cybersecurity, compliance, and reporting, significantly elevating the strategic importance and visibility of the security function.
This is a high-impact executive appointment for a commercially minded cybersecurity leader ready to own the program from the top. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer and partnering closely with the CEO, CFO, Chief Legal Officer, and Audit Committee, the CISO will set the enterprise strategy, shape the risk posture, and lead the organization through a period of rapid threat evolution, including the rise of AI-enabled offensive capabilities.
You will inherit a capable cybersecurity team and a complex, genuinely interesting environment. The scope spans IT and OT/ICS across six global manufacturing sites, a large-scale connected-product platform serving millions of users, and the full obligations of a newly public company. The role offers direct access to the highest levels of leadership, providing genuine influence to translate technical risk into business and financial terms for the board and executive team.
Candidates will be evaluated on their executive presence, strategic vision, and ability to navigate the complexities of a public manufacturing entity. The process involves a review of executive experience in SEC disclosure and board engagement, followed by interviews with the CTO, CEO, and Audit Committee members to assess cultural fit and strategic alignment.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
