About the Role

PrimeCare Medical Inc. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to serve as the Charge Nurse for the medical department at Chester County Prison in West Chester, PA. This full-time position operates on the night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Nursing in managing and evaluating nursing care delivery. As a Charge Nurse, you will function as a role model for nursing staff, ensuring that all administrative and clinical duties are performed with tact, diplomacy, and sound independent judgment. You will be instrumental in maintaining continuity of care, from conducting sick calls and providing health counseling to coordinating pre-release planning and managing controlled substances in strict compliance with state, federal, and NCCHC/ACA standards.
