About the Role

Located at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin in the Main OR, this full-time day shift position is part of our specialty pod system. You will facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures, ensuring the operating suite is prepared with sterile drapes, solutions, and appropriate instruments. Your day will involve assisting with patient preparation, transportation, positioning, and draping, while actively supporting the surgical team by handing required instruments and supplies to the surgeon. You will also maintain organized instrument counts and tracking throughout procedures.
