About the Opportunity
Sterling Medical, a leading provider of healthcare services for large companies and government agencies, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Japan. This full-time, 40-hour per week position includes relocation support to Japan and offers excellent compensation.
About the Role
This role is designed to support pediatric patients, specifically focusing on the birth-to-3 age group. You will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve administering treatment plans, conducting prescribed therapy sessions, and assisting in the development of care programs tailored to each patient's needs.
In this position, you will also play a key role in mentoring and supervising Occupational Therapy Assistant students, ensuring they develop the necessary clinical competencies. You will maintain detailed patient records to track progress and collaborate closely with the supervising therapist to adjust treatment strategies as needed. The role requires a strong foundation in occupational therapy modalities and the ability to perform procedures delegated by the licensed therapist.
