We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our professional team. In this role, you will provide specialized Occupational Therapy services to individuals from birth to three years of age who have developmental delays and/or diagnosed conditions. Your work will take place across a variety of environments, primarily within home and community settings, allowing you to support families where they live and learn.
As a COTA at MECA, you will operate within Local, State, and Federal regulations while adhering to all company policies. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate stimulus materials and treatment modalities tailored to the age and ability of each child. Your day will involve giving clear instructions, recording and tracking daily progress accurately, and providing immediate feedback to both the child and their family. You will also participate in essential planning meetings, including Transdisciplinary Team Consultation Meetings (TTCM), IFSPs, and transition meetings, to ensure comprehensive care.

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold an Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and possess current licensure from the NM Board of Occupational Therapy.
