About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on our night shift, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents within our skilled nursing environment. This role exists to ensure safe, compassionate, and person-centered care, supporting the nursing team in maintaining a home-like atmosphere. You will work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to meet the unique needs of our residents, upholding their dignity, preferences, and independence in accordance with their care plans.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- check_circleAssist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics
- check_circleMeasure and record vital signs, intake and output, and other observations
- check_circleDocument care provided accurately and report changes in resident condition to the nurse
- check_circleMaintain a safe, clean, and home-like environment for residents, families, and visitors
- check_circleSupport residents' dignity, preferences, and independence in accordance with care plans
- check_circleCollaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred
- verifiedCurrent, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of Tennessee
Nice to Have
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience.
