Key Responsibilities
- check_circleEscort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs
- check_circleCollect patient history and chief complaints
- check_circlePrepare charts, labs, and reports for providers
- check_circleAnswer and triage calls and messages
- check_circleDocument patient information in the medical record
- check_circleAssist providers during exams and procedures
- check_circleSchedule appointments and follow-ups
- check_circleProvide patient education on medications and diet
- check_circleCommunicate with pharmacies and outside providers
- check_circleMaintain accurate documentation and monitor patient flow
- check_circleAssist with Greenway Intergy EHR system
Requirements
- verifiedGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- verifiedCurrent CMA/MA certification
- verifiedCurrent CPR certification
- verifiedStrong medical terminology knowledge
Nice to Have
1+ year of medical office experience. Typing speed of approximately 60 WPM. Experience with the Greenway Intergy EHR system.
