Select Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide specialized care for athletes across our contracted schools in the Tampa, FL market. In this per diem role, you will serve as a vital link between student-athletes and the broader healthcare system, coordinating access to additional medical resources when needed.
Your day-to-day involves designing and implementing therapeutic rehabilitation programs tailored to injured athletes. You will be on the front lines during games and practices, administering preventative techniques such as taping, wrapping, bracing, and hydration management to minimize injury risk. Beyond immediate care, you will manage emergency incidents, coordinate with EMS, and perform acute care procedures to ensure the best possible functional outcomes for injured athletes.
This position offers the unique opportunity to engage with diverse team sizes, patient populations, and specialties. You will also participate in outreach events, such as races and club team activities, to promote the company and build community connections.
