This position serves as the primary architect for navigating the complex landscape of CMS certification within the Medicaid sector. You will lead the full certification lifecycle, transforming rigorous federal standards into actionable, organization-wide strategies. The role exists to ensure that state Medicaid agencies and their IT systems achieve and maintain full operational readiness and compliance with CMS IT certification standards.
In this capacity, you will act as the critical liaison between the organization, the state Medicaid agency, and CMS reviewers. Your work involves developing comprehensive certification readiness plans, managing operational metrics, and facilitating executive-level progress reporting. You will guide cross-functional teams through planning, implementation, and approval phases, ensuring that all documentation is audit-ready and aligned with current federal guidance.
