Central Processing Technician

About the Role

Park City Surgery Center is seeking a detail-oriented Central Processing Technician to support our high-volume, same-day surgical services. In this fast-paced outpatient setting, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient procedures and excellent patient outcomes by decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and equipment.

You will be the backbone of our sterile processing department, working closely with OR staff to address urgent instrument needs and manage turnover times. Your day will involve operating and monitoring autoclaves, washers, and low-temperature sterilization systems while maintaining accurate records of sterilization cycles and biological indicator results. Beyond technical execution, you will collaborate with the surgical team to assemble instrument sets and case carts according to specific surgeon and procedure requirements, ensuring that every case is ready for success.
