About the Role
Park City Surgery Center is seeking a detail-oriented Central Processing Technician to support our high-volume, same-day surgical services. In this fast-paced outpatient setting, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient procedures and excellent patient outcomes by decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and equipment.
You will be the backbone of our sterile processing department, operating sterilization and washing equipment while maintaining accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and biological indicator results. Your day will involve collaborating closely with OR staff to address urgent instrument needs and manage turnover times, ensuring that every case cart is assembled according to specific surgeon and procedure requirements. Working within a collaborative, integrity-driven culture, you will follow strict AAMI, AORN, and facility infection prevention standards to maintain the highest level of patient safety.
