About the Role
Grifols is seeking a Center Medical Specialist to support donor care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this on-site role, you will serve as a vital link in the plasma collection process, performing medical screenings, monitoring donors, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. You will document all procedures, maintain a clean and compliant environment, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct safe venipuncture and plasma collection procedures
- check_circleMonitor donors during and after collection and respond to reactions as needed
- check_circleDocument all procedures accurately in EMR and follow regulatory guidelines
- check_circleMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment
- check_circleOperate and troubleshoot collection equipment per protocols
- check_circleEducate donors on procedures, aftercare, and eligibility requirements
- check_circleCollaborate with the center team to meet quality and productivity goals
- check_circleFollow infection control, OSHA, and company safety standards
- check_circleParticipate in ongoing training to maintain clinical competencies
- check_circlePerform donor medical screenings including vital signs and health history reviews
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent LPN/LVN or RN license (preferred)
- verifiedCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- verifiedCPR/BLS certification
- verifiedPhlebotomy certification (CPT)
- verifiedExperience in plasma collection or blood banking (preferred)
Nice to Have
Current LPN/LVN or RN license. Experience in plasma collection or blood banking.
