About the Role
As a Driver – CDL (B), you will be the face of our commitment to service and safety on the front lines of waste management. You are responsible for safely operating a collection truck along a designated route, ensuring prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal for our diverse customer base, which includes small businesses, major corporations, and municipalities.
Your day involves more than just driving; it is a balance of operational precision and community interaction. You will perform thorough pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Throughout your shift, you will interact professionally with customers, identifying unsatisfactory waste containers and resolving issues with honesty and trustworthiness. You will also monitor vehicle conditions daily, completing necessary reports to ensure any defects are addressed immediately, minimizing downtime and maintaining the reliability of our fleet.
This role is vital to our local operations, where we combine standardized business practices with local decision-making to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will actively participate in our ReSOP program and uphold our safety-first culture, ensuring that every trip is completed safely and efficiently.
