About the Role
As a Swing Driver, you are the "utility player" of our fleet. We aren't looking for just any driver; we are looking for a versatile waste industry professional who doesn't just stick to one route or one truck type. Your ability to jump between Front-End, Roll-Off, and Residential units makes you one of the most valuable assets on our team.
If you thrive on variety, know the ins and outs of different collection methods, and enjoy a role where no two days are exactly the same, this is your next career move. You will safely operate one or more vehicle types to service customers in a safe and efficient manner, delivering collected solid waste or recyclables to landfills, MRFs, or transfer stations. You will also fill in for various routes as needed to ensure consistent service.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSafely operate Front-End, Roll-Off, and Residential trucks using various collection methods
- check_circleDeliver collected solid waste or recyclables to landfills, MRFs, or transfer stations
- check_circleFill in for various routes to ensure consistent service when regular drivers are away
- check_circlePerform rigorous pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues
- check_circleTrain newer drivers and provide feedback on route observations to improve efficiency
- check_circleManage helpers and maintain professional interactions with customers at disposal sites
Requirements
- verifiedValid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- verifiedClean driving record
- verifiedAt least 1 year of commercial driving experience
