About the Role

The Residential Driver is responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers. You will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transport them to post-collection facilities. This role requires operating rear-load, split body, curotto, or automated-side load trucks along designated routes, ensuring adherence to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations.

Your day involves maneuvering trucks into and out of minimum clearance spaces, utilizing mirrors to back up, and operating mechanical packers to load and compact trash. You will interact courteously with customers and the general public, answering questions and responding to requests while maintaining clean customer sites and safety along roads and highways. The role demands vigilance in monitoring operations for loose debris and performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
