About the Role
PODS is seeking a CDL Driver Local Delivery to safely transport and position portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this field-based role, you will run local routes, perform vehicle inspections, and operate hydraulic and loading equipment while following DOT and company safety standards. You will interact directly with customers, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and pickups with a professional, customer-first attitude.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSafely operate a CDL vehicle to deliver and pick up PODS containers on local routes
- check_circleConduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
- check_circleLoad, secure, and unload containers using company-approved procedures and equipment
- check_circleFollow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards at all times
- check_circleProvide courteous, professional service at customer sites and resolve basic service issues
- check_circleMaintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and use dispatch/GPS tools
- check_circleCommunicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and route changes
- check_circleProtect PODS property and customer belongings during handling and transport
Requirements
- verifiedValid CDL Class B or higher
- verifiedClean driving record (MVR)
