CDL Driver - Front Load

About the Role

Front-End Drivers are the backbone of our waste management operations, operating front-end trucks to service multi-family residential and commercial routes. In this role, you will fulfill customer contracts by removing and transporting waste or recyclables, ensuring efficient collection across multiple locations daily. Once collected, you will transport the waste to the appropriate station, landfill, or drop-off location.

Your day involves maneuvering commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to mechanically collect solid waste. You will interact courteously with customers and the general public, answering questions and responding to requests while maintaining a clean and safe environment around customer sites. The role requires a high degree of focus, as you will navigate tight clearance spaces, use GPS and key maps to locate service addresses, and perform rigorous safety checks before and after every trip.

Working Conditions

This is an outdoor position where you will work 100% of the time in varying weather conditions, including rain, storms, and extreme heat or cold. The environment is typically loud and may expose you to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and airborne particles. You will spend approximately 75% of your time sitting while driving, with the remainder of the shift dedicated to climbing, lifting, and operating equipment.
