About the Role
Front-End Drivers are the backbone of our waste and recycling operations, operating front-end trucks to service multi-family residential and commercial routes. In this role, you will fulfill customer contracts by removing and transporting waste or recyclables, ensuring efficient collection across multiple locations daily. Once collected, you will transport the materials to the appropriate stations, landfills, or drop-off locations.
Your day involves maneuvering commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to mechanically collect solid waste. You will interact courteously with customers and the general public, answering questions and addressing requests while maintaining a clean and safe environment around customer sites. This position requires a high degree of focus, as you will navigate tight clearance spaces, utilize GPS and key maps to locate service addresses, and adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
