About the Role

This entry-level driver training role is designed for individuals eager to learn and gain experience driving tractor-trailers or straight trucks on local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes. You will deliver and unload various food and food-related products to customers in the Manassas, VA area, ensuring all routes are completed safely in accordance with Company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

As a Driver Trainee, you will ride with and assist a driver trainer, performing safety checks, inspecting equipment, and handling freight documentation. You will interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, executing services according to preferred work methods and customer service practices. This position offers a chance to perform essential work supporting America's food distribution system within a safe and inclusive working environment that values rewards, recognition, and respect.

Hiring Process

Candidates must successfully complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program. The selection process includes a post-offer drug test and a road test to ensure safety and compliance with all DOT regulations.
