About the Role

This entry-level driver training role is designed for individuals eager to learn and gain experience driving tractor-trailers or straight trucks on local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes. You will deliver and unload various food and food-related products to customers, ensuring all services are executed safely and in accordance with company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

As a Driver Trainee, you will ride with and assist a driver trainer, following all instructions to master the intricacies of the job. You will interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, functioning as a vital team member within the department. This position offers a chance to perform essential work supporting America's food distribution system in a safe and inclusive environment that values rewards, recognition, and respect.

Hiring Process

Candidates must successfully complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program. The selection process includes a post-offer drug test and a road test to ensure safety and compliance with all standards.
