About the Team

Performance Foodservice, the broadline distributor for Performance Food Group, maintains unique relationships with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. Our team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers by providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. We deliver delicious food but also go above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.

About the Role

Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. As a CDL-A Driver, you are not only responsible for ensuring customer products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition, but you also serve as the face of our company, building lasting relationships with our customers.

You will drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes. Your mission is to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products in a safe and timely manner while strictly adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This role involves interacting professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, performing safety checks, and ensuring all freight is properly loaded, secured, and documented.
