About the Role
As a PODS Driver, you are the face of our company at customer locations. Your primary mission is to ensure the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of our signature storage containers. You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism, navigating customer sites to provide an incident-free experience while maintaining excellent rapport with every client.
This role is essential to our logistics chain, bridging the gap between our storage facilities and our customers. You will be responsible for the entire physical interaction with the container, from inspecting and cleaning it to coordinating rental paperwork and handling payments directly with the customer. Whether performing field repairs on containers and lifts or providing backup support for storage center functions, your work ensures our service remains reliable and professional.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform and log daily pre and post trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift
- check_circleClean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for customer delivery
- check_circleCoordinate rental paperwork and payment directly with the customer
- check_circleUse company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation
- check_circlePerform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center
- check_circleDrive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers safely
- check_circleOperate a forklift and/or an overhead crane to handle containers
- check_circleCommunicate with management regarding customer questions and prepare driver notes
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma or equivalent
- verifiedValid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction
- verifiedCurrent/valid driver license
- verifiedAt least 21 years of age
- verifiedValid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain 1-year certification
