About the Role
This position places you at the heart of a hospital laundry distribution center, where you will serve as a vital link in the healthcare supply chain. Your primary mission is to deliver and pick up hospital laundry, ensuring that critical healthcare facilities maintain their operations without interruption. You will be working directly with hospital staff, requiring strong customer service skills to facilitate smooth interactions during every stop.
The role involves physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading the truck and maneuvering 600lb laundry carts with wheels. You will step in to support delivery routes as needed, providing coverage for regular drivers and ensuring timely deliveries. This is a full-time, temporary position on the second shift (Monday through Friday), with a requirement to work a half day every other Saturday.
