As a Driver Trainee, you will learn the essential functions of the Driver job, including the accurate and timely distribution of products to various customer locations. This position is designed to give you exposure to warehouse and other operational functions as part of your developmental process to become a full McLane Driver.
You will ride and train with a Driver Trainer, gaining knowledge of commercial driving regulations and observing skills in starting engines, approaching intersections, making turns, backing, parking, and maneuvering vehicles on the road and customer premises. You will assist in unloading trailers and delivering products, ensuring on-time delivery of undamaged goods while providing excellent customer service.
