Tucker Freight Lines is a family-owned carrier built on a foundation of deep industry roots. Owners Sauny and AJ Tucker grew up around trucking, with AJ having spent years driving on the road himself. Their mission is to create a culture where drivers are not just employees, but successful partners in something bigger. They are dedicated to ensuring every team member has a positive experience and feels valued as part of the Tucker family.
As an Over-the-Road (OTR) Dry Van Driver, you will operate primarily in the Midwest, hauling freight in late-model Freightliners and Kenworths. These trucks are equipped with Automatic Power Units (APUs) and upgraded interiors to ensure comfort and efficiency. The role is designed for drivers who value reliability and modern equipment, with more than 60% of the work consisting of drop-and-hook operations.
You can expect to get home weekly to monthly, depending on your specific location. The position offers a competitive pay structure, including a base rate of 47 cents per mile, with opportunities to earn an additional 17 cents per mile through safety and performance bonuses. Weekend availability is rewarded through the "Weekend Warrior" package. Drivers also have the opportunity to earn a $5,000 referral bonus and quarterly bonuses based on performance.
There is no deadline to apply; we accept applications on an ongoing basis. If you are interested in joining the team, please reach out to a recruiter to confirm specific details regarding pay, location, and benefits, as these may vary by job type, experience level, and performance.
