Key Responsibilities
- check_circleTrain under experienced drivers to learn safe tractor-trailer operation
- check_circlePerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections following DOT safety standards
- check_circleAssist with loading, unloading, and securing freight to prevent damage
- check_circleFollow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining on-time performance
- check_circleAccurately use ELDs and complete required logs and documentation
- check_circleCommunicate professionally with dispatch, teammates, and customers
- check_circleCare for and report issues with assigned equipment and vehicles
- check_circleParticipate in ongoing training to obtain CDL-A and transition to solo driver status
