About the Team

Founded in 1996 and based in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania, Brothers Auto Transport has long been a trusted vehicle hauler across the Eastern U.S. In 2025, Brothers became the newest brand within Proficient Auto Logistics, joining six other elite operators in one national vehicle transport network. We are currently expanding our operating network and looking for experienced Owner Operators who take pride in safe, damage-free deliveries.

About the Role

As an independent contractor, you will drive your own truck hauling new vehicles from blue-chip, leading automotive OEM customers, as well as fleet and auction cars. Depending on the lane, you may also handle occasional specialty or oversize units. This role offers local, regional, and long-haul lanes with dispatch opportunities and back-office settlement support.

You will operate under a formal operating agreement that specifies the legal and customer requirements for your business. We offer 80%+ of contracted revenue for deliveries, along with fuel-related additional compensation, optional fuel discounts, and insurance programs.

Application Instructions

To apply, you must have an established business entity (LLC, Corporation, Sole Proprietor, etc.) and be at least 22 years old. You must possess a valid Class A CDL, have at least two years of Class A commercial driving experience, and one year of car hauling experience. Additional requirements include an acceptable motor vehicle record, a DOT physical and drug screen, a TWIC card, and the ability to read, write, and speak English as required by FMCSA regulations.

Your equipment must be a Class 7 or 8 semi-truck or truck-tractor (10 years or newer) with a high-capacity configuration (6+ cars) and functional fall protection. A DOT inspection within the last 30 days is required.
