CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

We are seeking a Company Driver to operate out of our yard in Obetz, Ohio, with the potential to support our future terminal in the same location. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. As a Company Driver, you will not be responsible for truck costs; all equipment is provided and maintained by the company.

Your primary route will cover 47 states, excluding California. During winter months, we aim to avoid the Northwest region to ensure safety and efficiency. While the work is currently based on customer needs rather than dedicated lanes, we are actively building dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company. You will handle drop-hook freight with no-touch loads, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive W-2 package designed to support your livelihood on the road. Drivers receive a maximum weekly cap of $1,000, with low mileage rates added for fair compensation. We also provide $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance issues encountered on the road. If you are detained at a facility for more than two hours, you will earn $25 per hour in detention pay. Additionally, drivers working on observed holidays receive an extra $50 on top of their regular revenue.

Our benefits package includes a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental plans via Principal. We also offer paid time off and holidays off. For those who wish to bring family along, we have pet passenger policies in place. If you have secure parking available, you may take the equipment home.

Hiring Process & Requirements

To apply, candidates must possess a valid CDL A license with at least three years of experience. Drivers must be at least 25 years old and under the age of 75 due to insurance regulations. Your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must show fewer than one moving violation in the last two years, and you must have no Drug Test failures or CDL violations in the past 15 years.
