We are seeking experienced Company Drivers to operate our yard in Obetz, OH, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks while servicing a broad network across 47 states. The role is designed to build toward dedicated opportunities, leveraging our sister logistics company to create long-term partnerships for our drivers.
Your work will be driven by customer needs rather than dedicated routes, allowing for dynamic routing across the country. While California is excluded from service, we strive to avoid the Northwest states during winter months to ensure safety and efficiency. The freight is primarily drop-hook and no-touch, ensuring a smooth workflow. Drivers are encouraged to be super organized and communicative, as dispatch is force-based but remains flexible to accommodate necessary home time and schedule preferences.
We provide the truck at no cost to you, including full maintenance. Drivers can take home equipment if they have secure parking available. Compensation includes low mileage rates for fair pay, detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, and a $200 daily stipend for any breakdown or maintenance on the road. There is a maximum weekly cap of $1,000. Additionally, drivers receive $50 on top of regular revenue for working on observed holidays.
As a full-time W-2 employee, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental insurance via Principal. Paid time off and holidays are also provided. We also welcome pet passengers, subject to policy.
To join our team, candidates must possess a valid CDL A license with at least three years of experience. Drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 75, adhering to insurance regulations. A clean driving record is essential, with no more than one moving violation in the last two years and no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the past 15 years.
We value organization and communication, fostering a team environment where drivers are supported in building their careers with us. Our goal is to transition drivers from general freight to dedicated opportunities, creating stability and growth within our fleet.
