CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

As a Company Driver for our Ohio operations, you will operate a 2020+ sleeper truck to service customers across 47 states. This position is designed for drivers who value reliability and partnership; we provide the truck at no cost, ensuring all equipment is company-owned, well-maintained, and ready for the road. While the role is currently non-dedicated and driven by fluctuating customer needs, we are actively working to build dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.

Your typical schedule involves being out for approximately two weeks at a time. We strive to avoid the Northwest states during winter months and do not service California. The freight is primarily drop-and-hook with no-touch loads. We offer a flexible dispatch model that is force-based but highly communicative and organized, capable of accommodating your home time needs and preferred schedules.

Compensation & Perks

We believe in fair compensation for every mile and hour. Our pay structure includes low mileage rates, detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, and a breakdown allowance of $200 per day for any maintenance issues on the road. Drivers can earn up to $1,000 per week. Additionally, if you work on an observed holiday, you receive a $50 bonus on top of your regular revenue.

As a full-time W-2 employee, you are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) with company contribution, Cigna medical coverage, and Principal vision and dental plans. We also offer paid time off and holidays. For those who enjoy traveling with companions, we have pet passenger policies in place. If you have secure parking available, you may also take the equipment home.

Hiring Process

To join our team, candidates must meet specific safety and experience standards. We require a minimum of three years of CDL A experience and applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 75 (due to insurance regulations). Your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must show fewer than one moving violation in the last two years, with no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the past 15 years.
