About the Role
We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, Ohio, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. This position offers the opportunity to service 47 states, excluding California, with a seasonal preference to avoid the Northwest during winter months. The role is built on customer needs rather than dedicated routes, though we actively work to build dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.
You will drive well-maintained 2020 sleeper trucks equipped for drop-hook and no-touch freight. As a company driver, all equipment is provided at no cost to you. If you have secure parking available, you may take the truck home. Our dispatch team is forceful yet flexible, capable of accommodating your home time needs and preferred schedules for those who are super organized and communicative.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a full-time W-2 package with comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental plans via Principal. Drivers receive paid time off and holidays off. On observed holidays, drivers earn an additional $50 on top of regular revenue.
Our compensation structure includes detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, low mileage rates for fair compensation, and a breakdown/maintenance allowance of $200 per day while on the road. Weekly earnings can reach up to $1,000.
Hiring Process
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria: a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience, be between 25 and 75 years of age, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record with fewer than one moving violation in the last two years. Additionally, there must be no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the last 15 years.
