CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Company Drivers to operate our yard in Obetz, OH, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. As a Company Driver, you will operate company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. We provide the truck at no cost to you, and if you have secure parking, you may take the equipment home.

Your primary mission is to service 47 states based on customer needs. While the work is generally non-dedicated, we are actively building dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company. You will typically be out for two weeks at a time. Please note that California is not serviced, and we aim to avoid Northwest states during winter months.

Day in the Life

You will handle drop-hook, no-touch freight. Our dispatch team is forceful but flexible, working to accommodate your needed home time and schedule preferences. Success in this role requires being super organized and highly communicative. We offer fair compensation with low mileage rates added to ensure you are paid appropriately for the miles driven.

We offer full-time W-2 benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision/dental through Principal. You will also receive paid time off and holidays off. If you work on an observed holiday, you will receive an additional $50 on top of your regular revenue. We also have pet passenger policies in place.

Compensation Highlights

Drivers are eligible for detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility. We provide $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance occurring on the road. While rates vary, the maximum weekly earnings can reach $1,000.

Hiring Process & Requirements

To join our team, you must hold a valid CDL A license with at least three years of experience. Candidates must be at least 25 years old and under 75 (due to insurance requirements). Your Motor Vehicle Record must show fewer than one moving violation in the last two years, with no Drug Testing failures or CDL violations in the past 15 years.
