Founded in 2006, Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is a division of Golden State Foods that provides custom foodservice distribution to top restaurant brands across the U.S. With over 20 strategically located distribution centers and 17,000+ weekly deliveries, QCD is a fast-growing, people-first company headquartered in Irvine, CA.
Our business philosophy actively supports our associates through four Core Values: treating others as you want to be treated, making the best product, giving the customer a fair deal, and maintaining the highest standards. QCD sets the standard in safety, service, innovation, and operational excellence.
Join a company where your hard work keeps the nation fed—and you're home in time for dinner. As a CDL A Delivery Driver with QCD in Waipahu, HI, you will haul and deliver multi-temperature control goods (frozen, refrigerated, and ambient) to restaurants across O'ahu. This is not just a job; it's a career built on reliability and operational excellence.
You will drive late-model 48' automatic reefers equipped with rear and side lift gates, ensuring a smooth delivery experience without the need for ramps. Your day involves navigating various delivery conditions, from cold and rain to heat, while maneuvering vehicles in difficult situations like narrow passageways. You will make 8-12 stops per day, unloading freight and down-stacking product in-store using electric pallet jacks and hand dollies. Exceptional customer service is key, as you maintain accurate delivery records and foster positive relationships with store personnel and supervisors.
This role offers a unique 4-day work week with 10-12 hour shifts, guaranteeing home time daily. While one weekend day is required, the schedule is designed to provide a better work-life balance. You will be part of a team that values safety and compliance, performing pre and post-trip inspections and adhering to all DOT regulations.
If you are looking for reliable home time, a 4-day work week, competitive pay, and great benefits, experience the QCD difference. We offer a guaranteed 40-hour workweek with an average weekly pay between $1,400 and $1,600. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a fully company-paid pension through Teamsters 996, and a 401(k) with a company match. We also provide paid training, paid orientation, free uniforms, and tuition reimbursement for advancement opportunities.
This position requires touch freight and food service experience. Ideally, drivers must live within 25 miles of Waipahu, HI, or be willing to relocate for this position. To apply, please ensure you meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements, including a valid CDL A license, current DOT Medical card, and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, no DUI/DWIs in the last 10 years). Candidates must also be able to pass a MVR, pre-employment drug screen, and background check.
Golden State Foods and QCD are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
