About the Position
CRST Specialized Solutions is seeking independent contractor teams (Owner Operators) to haul specialty freight across the country. As a Specialized contractor, you maintain full control over your home time, loads, and schedule. This role allows you to run your truck and directly enjoy the profits of your hard work.
The Specialized fleet boasts a turnover rate of under 30% and is supported by best-in-class staff. This is a driver-assist position where the team is responsible for loading and unloading freight while driving throughout the lower 48 states.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation structure designed to maximize your earnings:
- Top Earnings: The top 25% of contractors gross $8,000 to $10,000 per week or more to the truck.
- Pay Rate: $2.03 CPM based on 2025 averages, fluctuating with fuel surcharges.
- Mileage: All miles are paid.
- Expenses: Tolls are 100% paid, and fuel discounts are available at $0.18 per gallon.
- Incentives: A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for the truck.
- Home Time: You choose your home time, with opportunities for bonus home time in short periods through the CRST Get Thru Home program.
Note: The top 25% earners typically stay out 4 weeks with 3-4 days at home and accept 99% of offered loads.
