About the Position
CRST Specialized Solutions is seeking independent contractor teams (Owner Operators) to haul specialty freight across the country. As a Specialized contractor, you maintain full control over your home time, loads, and schedule. This role allows you to run your truck and directly enjoy the profits of your hard work.
The Specialized fleet boasts a turnover rate of under 30% and is supported by best-in-class staff. This is a driver assist position where you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight while driving within the lower 48 states.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation structure designed for stability and growth:
- Earnings: The top 25% of contractors gross $8,000 to $10,000 per week or more to the truck. These top earners typically stay out 4 weeks with 3-4 days of home time and accept 99% of offered loads.
- Pay Rate: $2.03 CPM based on 2025 averages, which fluctuates as fuel surcharges change.
- Miles: All miles are paid.
- Expenses: Tolls are 100% paid, and fuel discounts are available at $0.18 per gallon.
- Bonus: A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available to the truck.
- Lease: Low lease expenses compared to the industry average.
- Stability: Stable miles with freight availability that is increasing.
