About the Role
As a CDL A Driver Trainee, you will work alongside experienced drivers to master safe tractor-trailer operation, DOT and company safety standards, route planning, and customer delivery procedures. This role is designed to bridge the gap between your current qualifications and full CDL A Driver status. You will assist with loading and unloading, complete necessary inspections and logs, and support on-time deliveries while receiving hands-on training.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen. Those with a CDL A permit or active enrollment in a CDL school are preferred. Once selected, you will begin training under supervision to ensure you meet all McLane and DOT eligibility and safety requirements.
