About the Role
As a CDL A Driver, you will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of goods to our predetermined customers on specific routes. This role is designed for those who take pride in their driving expertise and wish to contribute directly to McLane's reputation through dedication and skill. You will manage routes and routines to proceed in the most efficient way possible, handling documentation regarding cargo deliveries with accuracy and completeness.
Your day-to-day involves more than just driving; you will assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring the safety and integrity of every item. You will also be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections before and after each route to ensure optimal operating conditions and reporting any issues or accidents to the dispatch team immediately. By maintaining compliance with DOT regulations through proper tracking and documentation, you help keep our logistics network running smoothly.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a clean driving record, and a DOT medical card. Experience with electronic logging devices is required.
