About the Role
Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. As a driver, you are not only responsible for ensuring products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition, but you also serve as the face of our company, building lasting relationships with our customers.
This is a Team Route position featuring a 4-day work week on a rotating Sunday–Saturday basis. Dispatch times typically range from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with end times varying. You will drive tractor trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes to deliver food and food-related products safely and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Hiring Process
Candidates must pass a post-offer drug test, criminal background check, and road test. A valid CDL-A and a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past three years are required.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleUnload products from trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- check_circleSecure tractor, trailer, and freight appropriately and ensure all equipment is locked
- check_circleDrive tractor trailer or straight truck on local, over-the-road, and overnight routes to deliver food products
- check_circlePerform count checks of items and verify customer invoices for loaded products
- check_circleVerify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures on invoices
- check_circleCommunicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers to answer questions accurately
- check_circleHandle damaged goods and customer returns by unloading and completing necessary paperwork
- check_circleComplete daily records of hours of service and enter data in log in accordance with Federal DOT requirements
- check_circlePerform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer in accordance with DOT regulations
- check_circleReport all safety issues, hazards, and required repairs immediately to supervisors
Requirements
