About the Role
As a CDL A Driver, you will be pivotal in our dynamic team, ensuring timely transport and delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes. This role is more than just driving; it is about strengthening our reputation through your commitment to safety and efficiency. You will utilize your driving expertise to manage routes and routines in the most efficient way possible, handling documentation regarding cargo deliveries with accuracy and completeness.
Your day will involve conducting thorough vehicle inspections before and after each route to ensure optimal operating conditions. You will be responsible for properly tracking and documenting activity logs via electronic or manual systems, maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations. Additionally, you will assist in the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring the safety and integrity of every item. Whether navigating unexpected traffic, weather conditions, or other challenges, your ability to handle the road with sound judgment is essential to our success.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a clean driving record, and a current DOT medical card. Experience with electronic logging devices is required. We look for individuals who demonstrate excellent navigational skills, proficiency in operating Class A commercial vehicles, and the physical ability to handle heavy cargo when necessary.
