In this role, you will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver groceries, foodservice products, and other cargo safely and efficiently. Your day will involve ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to predetermined customers on specific routes. You will review orders prior to delivery to ensure correct loads and error-free execution, while also handling the loading, unloading, and inspection of delivery vehicles. As a representative of the company, you will follow strict safety protocols, maintain a professional demeanor with customers, and handle any concerns with tact and efficiency.
We value a safe driving record and the ability to coordinate effectively with our logistics team to track deliveries. Familiarity with electronic equipment and software, including GPS, AVL units, and CB radios, is essential for navigating our vast network.
