In this role, you will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver groceries, foodservice products, and other cargo safely and efficiently. Your day involves ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery to guarantee correct and error-free loads, and coordinating with the logistics team to track progress. You will also handle customer interactions with a friendly and professional demeanor, resolving concerns with tact while collecting signatures or payments as needed.

Drivers are expected to perform pre and post-trip inspections, abide by all Department of Transportation regulations, and maintain a safe driving record. You will serve as the face of McLane Company, following strict safety protocols and ensuring that every delivery reflects our commitment to quality.
