CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

At McLane, our drivers are the heartbeat of our operations, connecting vital food and goods to an array of respected establishments across the nation. With a sprawling network of over 80 distribution centers, you will be part of a seamless system dedicated to efficiency and excellent service.

In this role, you will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver groceries, foodservice products, and other cargo safely and efficiently. Your day will involve ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to predetermined customers on specific routes. You will review orders prior to delivery to verify correct loads and ensure they are error-free, while also coordinating with the logistics team to track progress. Beyond driving, you will load, unload, prepare, and inspect delivery vehicles, performing pre and post-trip inspections in strict adherence to Department of Transportation regulations.

Customer interaction is a key component of this position. You will collect signatures or payments when needed and handle customer concerns with tact and efficiency. The role requires you to follow company safety protocols and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor when engaging with clients.
