With a sprawling network of over 80 distribution centers, you will be part of a seamless system dedicated to efficiency and excellent service.
In this role, you will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver groceries, foodservice products, and other cargo safely and efficiently. Your day involves ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery to guarantee correct and error-free loads, and coordinating with the logistics team to track progress. You will also handle customer interactions with a friendly, professional demeanor, resolving concerns with tact and efficiency while collecting signatures or payments as needed.
We value safety and compliance above all else. Drivers are expected to perform pre and post-trip inspections, abide by all Department of Transportation regulations, and maintain a safe driving record. Familiarity with electronic equipment and software, including GPS, AVL units, and CB radios, is essential for navigating our network effectively.
