About the Role
Great drivers are crucial to the US Foods team and serve as one of the important faces of our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for safely driving trucks to customers while meeting scheduled delivery times. You will carefully unload products using equipment such as a two-wheeler or pallet jack, verify delivery accuracy with customers, and handle collections when applicable.
Beyond the road, you will perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and professionally execute customer service responsibilities to enhance the client experience. On and off the road, drivers strive for integrity and reliability while building trusting relationships with customers. This position is located in Hardeeville, SC, and operates on a 4-day work week (Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) with dispatching typically occurring between 2:00 am and 6:00 am. The schedule may vary based on business needs.
