About the Role
This is an immediate opportunity for a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver to join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. As a Local Class A Floater, you will work at various dedicated accounts and shifts locally as needed. Your day will involve performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and scanning products as they are delivered.
You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. While dispatch times will vary depending on your work assignment, this role offers the distinct advantage of being local with home daily. You will also have access to tons of training opportunities and the ability to move to a new city with locations across the nation.
Hiring Process
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
