Just got your CDL-A? Start your trucking career strong with Bison USA. This role is designed specifically for recent graduates ready to transition from the classroom to the open road. We help new drivers build their future starting day one, providing a clear path from paid training to your first solo load. You will be running Over-The-Road (OTR) miles in late-model van and reefer trailers, delivering consistent work week after week.
Your day-to-day will involve driving steady OTR miles (2,000–2,500 weekly) with 98% no-touch freight, allowing you to focus on the road. You can expect to be home 2–3 days every 2–3 weeks. Bison USA offers a supportive environment where you can bring a pet or rider, and where your assigned truck becomes yours after training. We don't just hire you; we grow with you, offering career growth opportunities and a culture where drivers matter.
We believe in preparing you for success. The journey begins with 3 days of orientation followed by 5 days of classroom and terminal training. You will then enter 4 weeks of in-cab paid training with an experienced driver. A fast-track option is available, allowing for 2 weeks of in-cab training based on evaluation. Once you complete your training, you receive your own truck and head home.
To join the Bison Herd, you must hold a valid Class A CDL, be 21 or older, and have graduated from a CDL school within the last 90 days. You must be willing to run OTR for 2–3 weeks at a time and pass all DOT screenings. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. Ask about our up to $6,000 tuition reimbursement to support your journey.
Bison USA is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
