CDL-A Company Driver — Schuyler, NE at U.S. Xpress

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated CDL-A truck driver to join our team on a route designed for home weekly. This position offers 100% touch freight, ensuring you maintain control over your load from start to finish. Drivers can expect to earn an average of $1,900+ per week, with top earners averaging $2,200. Compensation includes trip pay calculated on dispatched miles ranging from $0.70 to $0.80 cpm, along with additional pay for unloads, stops, and backhauls.

Equipment & Support

Our fleet features newer equipment averaging 18 months old, ensuring reliability on the road. We provide convenient home-base terminals and offer 24/7 driver support to assist with any issues that arise during your shifts.

Hiring Process

Interested candidates must possess a valid Class A License (CDL A), be at least 21 years old, and have a minimum of 3 months of verifiable experience. The hiring process includes a paid orientation upon completion and hiring. All applicants must successfully pass a DOT physical and drug test.

Qualification Standards

To ensure safety and compliance, candidates must meet the following criteria:

No more than one CMV on-road preventable accident in the last 2 years, with no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
No more than two moving violations in the last 2 years.
No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years (or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL).
No drug-related convictions within the past 5 years (or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL).
No positive or refused drug tests in the past 10 years with a CDL-A or CLP.
SAP drivers are not eligible for hire.
