Join our team at Seton Medical Center-Austin in the Electrophysiology Lab as a Full-time Days associate. In this role, you will be an integral part of the cardiovascular care team, assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system. You will actively monitor patient physiological data, including heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations, anticipating changes that indicate critical information such as catheter positioning.
Your day will involve performing patient testing and intra-procedure monitoring, such as cardiac output and hemodynamic calculations, while ensuring proper handling and preparation of specialized equipment. You will collaborate closely with physicians to adapt to case needs, manage room setup and patient transport, and maintain strict infection control and safety standards. Additionally, you will play a key role in patient education, providing clear instructions on post-procedure monitoring and care of the catheter insertion site.
